Second entry into blogging. Tried it before, but never really had the motivation to keep it. I have more things to talk about now, so hopefully I'll be able to maintain some semblance of a blog schedule.

I'll start off by introducing myself. I'm in my 30's and live in the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City. I work as an accountant for a news media organization. I've been in NYC for twelve years and have a love-hate relationship with this place, depending on the day and my mood. I was born in South Carolina, but also lived in Massachusetts, Maryland and Edmonton, Canada before making the jaunt to NY after college. Love to travel, cook, follow soccer, go for walks, follow technology, follow the commercial aviation industry, watch sci-fi shows and movies and exercise.

I don't think I'll focus a lot of this blog on the personal. Most of the topics will probably focus on Soccer, smartphones, technology in general, aviation, sci-fi, professional wrestling, travel and some economics and politics among other things.

Just to get my soccer loyalties out of the way, I support Manchester City mostly because I really like their coach, Roberto Mancini. I can't stand Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson. And while I support my teams, I'm not blinded by jersey colors and can objectively comment on other teams and players, even those I hate. In the Italian Sire A, I support AS Roma. I don't have a particular favorite team in Spain, but I prefer Real Madrid to Barcelona. But to tell you the truth, I don't like either of them and their holier than thou attitudes.

I have an Android phone - Motorla Photon 4G from Sprint - and an iPod Touch 4. I also have an Asus EEE Pad transformer as a tablet. So, I'll probably be talking a bit about those and other phones and tablets in general.

Still debating on whether I should start a Twitter account.

Well, not much of an introduction, but I guess it's better than nothing. Enjoy...
